A Taste of Devour! The Food Film Fest in Toronto, August 29
The world’s largest food and film festival, Devour! The Food Film Fest, brings their signature satellite event A Taste of Devour! to Toronto. This ultimate feast for foodies and film buffs is treat for the senses with a mouth-watering lineup of films and culinary delights designed by six of Canada’s pre-eminent chefs. The chefs will create gourmet dishes inspired by six engaging short films from the upcoming 2018 festival program, which will be previewed throughout the evening.
The five-course dinner features cocktail and wine pairings and a delectable spread including a seafood bar, dishes such as Peking duck noodle with a foraged mushroom and duck bone velouté, hand-picked herbs and cultured cream and a luxurious desert – a tempura-fried crisp waffle with butter pudding, salty peanut caramel, espresso mallow and gingersnap crumble.
