A League Of Their Own at Corktown Common Park!

Toronto Outdoor Picture Show's newest series, Movies on the Common, opens on July 6th with Penny Marshalls beloved A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN, the inspirational true story of the 1940s All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. Like at our signature series, Christie Pits Film Festival, Movies on the Common will include great short films before each evening's feature. A League of Their Own will screen with two Heritage Minutes that also depict athletes in phenomenal times of historical change, Jackie Robinson and Edmonton Grads.
