What to Expect: This self-guided session invites you to create at your own pace in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re drawn to expressive abstract work or a more detailed piece, you’ll have the freedom to explore your ideas and bring your vision to life.

Choose between acrylic or oil painting, depending on your preferred style and experience. Acrylics offer a faster-drying, versatile approach, while oils allow for richer blending and can be worked on after the session.

Arrival Window: Participants are welcome to arrive anytime within the first hour.

Self-Guided Format

Enjoy the freedom to create artwork on your terms. An Artbox team member will be available for light guidance and support as needed. This experience is catered to all skill levels—especially for those open to exploring abstract and intuitive expression.

We recommend beginners start with acrylic painting or join a guided oil painting workshop before signing up for self-guided oil painting.

All Materials Included

Your session includes access to high-quality acrylic or oil paints, brushes, canvas, easels, aprons, and all necessary materials. We suggest wearing comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little paint on.

Snacks, Coffee and Tea available to purchase.

Who This Is For: Those looking for a more intimate, creative experience. Perfect for adults, friends, solo or couple dates.

Must be aged 10+ to participate. Guests 14+ may attend independently; younger participants are welcome when accompanied by an adult. Guardians/kids can work individually or share a canvas. To help maintain a calm and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests, we kindly ask that young participants remain supervised by their guardians throughout the session. Guests attending with children may be asked to leave if repeated disturbances occur that impact the experience of other participants.
