A Fireside Chat with Tiffany Pratt

"Art is all a matter of personality." –Marcel Duchamp

Our home is our castle, so what do our spaces say about us? How does our personal style translate into art and design choices? And why does it matter?

We sit down with interior designer and creative thinker Tiffany Pratt to talk about her design process, growing art collection, and the importance (and thrill) in the many ways we can express ourselves in our space. Join us as we cozy up with a pint and tuck into a memorable chat at our local craft brewery.

Her trademark hair and big energy make Tiffany Pratt unforgettable. Tiffany fell in love with beautiful things at a young age. Today that appreciation for beauty has carried through to her day-to-day work.

As a designer, stylist, maker and author she is trained to see the exquisite in the unexpected. Her style mixes old with new and merges elegant with livable. Above all she lives and breathes her truth that “this can be beautiful.”

Moderated by Melissa-Dawn Bessey, a Toronto based artist, art teacher, art director, wardrobe person for film and owner of PR agency Media Allure.

Melissa is passionate about engaging the community through art and is the curator for the YOUTH DAY Toronto art gallery; as well as the publicist for YOUTH DAY Global. Melissa has been art-making and developing her communication skills since 2004, when she graduated from The Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD U) where she studied Material Art & Design, focusing on Textile Design.
