Toronto’s First Asian-Inspired Summerlicious Launches: Sharelicious Asia Brings Together GTA Asian Restaurants for a Summer Food Celebration

Every year, Summerlicious inspires thousands of Torontonians to discover new dining destinations. Yet despite the city's vibrant and diverse Asian food scene, Asian restaurant brands have never had a large-scale collective promotion platform of their own.

This summer, SharEat — the world's first dining social platform founded by a Hong Kong entrepreneur — is launching Canada's first Asian-inspired Summerlicious event: Sharelicious Asia 2026 - Toronto.

Running from June 19 to July 3, 2026, the two-week festival will bring together Asian restaurants across Toronto and the GTA, offering exclusive set menus and community-driven experiences that encourage residents to discover some of the city's most unique and authentic Asian dining destinations.

The festival will feature a wide range of Asian dining concepts across Toronto and the GTA, including Hong Kong-style cafés, Japanese and Korean cuisine, Taiwanese restaurants, and Southeast Asian eateries. Through limited-time menus, community sharing, and digital content promotion, Sharelicious Asia aims to showcase the diversity and cultural influence of Asian cuisine within the city.

"Sharelicious Asia is more than a short-term dining promotion. We envision it as a community movement that celebrates Toronto's Asian food culture. Our goal is to help more local residents discover Asian restaurant brands while positioning Asian cuisine as an integral part of Toronto's mainstream food culture."

Unlike traditional restaurant promotions, Sharelicious Asia integrates social media engagement, community interaction, and user-generated content to redefine the dining discovery experience. In addition to exclusive menus and dining offers, the campaign will encourage restaurant reviews, food sharing, and community participation across Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Xiaohongshu (RED), and the SharEat App, creating greater conversation and engagement throughout the festival.

About SnapEat and SharEat

SnapEat is a Canadian Asian food content platform founded by a Hong Kong entrepreneur. Across Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and Xiaohongshu, the platform has built a community of approximately 20,000 followers and generates more than 1 million organic views per month.

Earlier this year, the team also launched SharEat, a world-wide first-in-Toronto Asian dining social platform that combines restaurant discovery, user-generated reviews, ratings, and community interaction. The platform aims to build a thriving local Asian and Chinese food community across Canada.

The organizer hopes that Sharelicious Asia will gradually evolve into Toronto's signature annual summer celebration of Asian food culture, further strengthening connections among local Asian restaurants, content creators, and food-loving communities.
