The 2016 East End Poetry Festival is Sunday, October 2, 12-4pm at the Children's Peace Theatre, and is hosted by internationally-acclaimed poet, novelist, and Toronto’s Poet Laureate Anne Michaels.

Readings will be shared by poets Ruben ‘Beny’ Esguerra, Shekhor E Gomes, Doyali Islam, and Lena Recollet, featuring live music by Liton Kazi and Ruben ‘Beny’ Esguerra.

A panel discussion with distinguished guests Subrata Das, Sheniz Janmohamed, and Connor Pion, moderated by Anne Michaels, will explore the topic of preservation and celebration of language in our multicultural city and society.
