Join us for a one-of-a-kind workshop where you'll animate by hand on 16mm film to create your own short stop-motion piece - no experience needed! Participants will be taught an array of direct animation techniques to scratch, paint, draw, and destroy a film strip, and receive pieces of black, clear, and scrap film to create their own 15 second mini animation. Completed filmstrips will be given to the instructor at the end of the session to be scanned into a vibrant moving animation, emailed to participants as a digital file after the workshop!
