100 Percent Renewable by 2050

Studying at the Royal Ontario Museum, we are a group of Environmental Visual Communication students from Fleming College working to accelerate the conversation around Ontario’s renewable energy commitment. With your help, our goal is to use our visual storytelling expertise to communicate the urgency for a shift to renewable energy.

At the centre of this campaign is an event taking place on November 23rd at Steam Whistle Brewing in Toronto. The objective of our event? Inspire Ontario policy makers to pledge to adopt 100% renewable energy resolutions for 2050.

We are working hard to gather corporate leaders, business owners, renewable energy leaders, and concerned citizens like you to show decision makers in Ontario that we are able to do this.

The storage technology for renewable energy is improving and the cost of it is declining. The transition to 100% renewable energy is already happening in Ontario’s own Oxford County. We can show policy makers that the practices in Oxford County are scalable to cities big and small across the province.

We need to take Ontario’s energy future into our own hands.

WHEN: Monday, November 23, 2015 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM

WHERE: Steam Whistle Brewing - 255 Bremner Boulevard, Toronto, ON M5V 3M9
