Health Canada has issued a recall for certain brands of acetaminophen and melatonin, so you may want to check your medicine cabinet.
Recalls for some Riva Acetaminophen and Life Brand Timed Release Melatonin tablets were issued by the public health agency on Tuesday.
According to the notices, the affected products are Riva Acetaminophen Caplet 500 mg (lot number D3120) and Life Brand Timed Release Melatonin 10 mg with the following lot numbers: 4D3965YA2, 4F4495YA2, 4F44961B0, 4F44962LH, 4H49262LH and 5C47764ES.
The affected Riva Acetaminophen lot was recalled because it may contain acetaminophen 325 mg tablets instead of 500 mg.
The Life Brand melatonin recall is due to labels with incorrect dosing instructions, according to Health Canada.
