Scooped by Demetres is giving away free ice cream at the Toronto Eaton Centre today

Dished Toronto is partnering with Scooped by Demetres today Friday Aug. 23 to give away 100 free scoops of ice cream at their newest pop-up location at Queen's Cross Food Hall in Toronto's Eaton Centre.

Scooped by Demetres has been making waves for their self-proclaimed "creamiest ice cream on earth" with locations throughout Toronto including in the Distillery District and CityPlace.

The Toronto ice cream brand offers a broad range of flavours, varying from traditional to unconventional. Cajeta Swirled Goat Cheese and Lemon Curd Blueberry are some of their more unusual flavours. They also have a line of vegan sorbets.

To celebrate their newest location, Dished Toronto is helping them give out free ice cream this week.

Here's everything you need to know to score a free cup:

  • Be one of the first 100 people to show up at Scooped by Demetres (inside Queen's Cross Food Hall) at the CF Toronto Eaton Centre. When you get there just line up in front of the shop and a member of the Dished Toronto team will verify that you qualify for a free ice cream.
  • To qualify for a free ice cream, you must show us that you follow either Dished Toronto on Instagram or TikTok and follow Scooped by Demetres on Instagram or TikTok.
  • You'll be able to get a cup of ice cream in the flavour of your choice, valued at $6, completely free — just because everyone deserves a sweet treat now and then.
  • The giveaway will start at noon and run until the 100 scoops have been given away.
