UofT might get a major upgrade in on campus food

University of Toronto students may not need to veer off campus to search for healthy and delicious food. That's because UofT will not be renewing its contract with Aramark. Instead, starting this summer, it'll be handling all on-campus food services itself.

As Metro News reports, this will enable the university to provide students with more variety as well as with healthier food options.

Back in 2013, Ryerson University severed ties with Aramark. The school now stocks a slew of affordable, made-in-house meals in on-campus dining halls and residences.

According to Metro, UofT will offer the more than 200 affected Aramark employees jobs at the university.
