29 eats from the first big food truck fest of the season

The SEW Hungry food truck festival returned to Ottawa Street in Hamilton this past Friday. The annual ambulatory feast has become the unofficial kick-off to summer food festival season and is graced by trucks from Toronto, Hamilton and across Southern Ontario. I paid a visit to check in on the state of food truck culture in the area, which by all accounts is thriving.

Check out all the glorious eats in this photo gallery and take note of which food trucks to follow as summer heats up.
