Toronto is getting its first beer festival for women

Canada's first female-centric craft beer festival is hitting the Evergreen Brick Works on April 1st. The Society of Beer Drinking Ladies - who are known for putting on monthly bevies for broads in Toronto - is hosting the event and promising a night of bonfires, beats and plenty of booze. It's the team's biggest bash thus far, so you'll want to scoop up tickets ASAP.

Beer-wise there'll be plenty of options on tap. But, if you want to sample something truly unique, the SOBDL has teamed up with Junction Craft Brewing to make a one-off limited beer just for the event. You'll also get the chance to shop at the Swag Shop and peruse the team's first ever Artisan Marketplace, which will be hocking beer-related goods.

Tickets are on sale now and include a 5 oz commemorative sample glass, 4 drink tokens and a morning after gift. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Women's Foundation.

Will you be attending? Let us know in the comments.
