Toronto getting a pop-up restaurant in a big white dome

We all know that we eat with our eyes first, but beer brand Stella Artois wants to engage all of our senses in a new dining experience aptly called Sensorium. From September 10-27, the beer company will host dinner guests in a giant dome-like structure, which will pop up at 525 King St. W. (It'll be in the parking lot next to the Starbucks by King and Brant.)

Tickets for this five-course meal, which includes beer pairings, cost a hefty $125. In spite of this price tag, four seatings are already sold out.

Marketing Mag describes this brand activation as "part dinner series, part immersive theatre," and Stella has enlisted the help of experts - including Michelin-starred chef Richie Farina, Toronto-based designer Jamie Webster and Canadian sound engineer Nyles Miszczyk - to bring their elevated dinner to life.

Seeing as Sensorium starts its run during TIFF, it'll be one more branded attraction drawing visitors to King West.
