Feel flattered, Toronto, because this Japanese matcha shop has chosen to open its first North American location here. Founded in Kyoto in 1860, this brand specializes in matcha-based hot and cold drinks as well as desserts, including carefully made soft serve, sundaes, floats and shaved ice. Uncle Tetsu's Matcha Cafe now has some serious competition.
