Yonge & Eglinton
Yonge & Eglinton is a bustling midtown intersection surrounded by hundreds of restaurants, stores and a couple of movie theatres. Nicknamed Yonge and Eligible for the 20 something professional demographic that tends to migrate here, the area is often sniffed at by many as being too mainstream and devoid of culture and personality. But a look closer, on Yonge Street, south to Davisville and north on Eglinton and between Yonge and Avenue Road reveals plenty of worthy destinations such as the Designer Cookie, Gelato Simply Italian and Bamburger to name just a few.
