New iPhone app is all about chocolate

Posted by Tim / July 22, 2011

Chocolate iphone appA new iphone app was released this week that wants to be a comprehensive guide to Toronto chocolate stores. The app includes a directory of all chocolate stores in the city and includes recommendations about what to get at each one AND what to eat it with. At Ambiance Chocolat, for example, the scotch whisky caramel is suggested to be paired with some smoked maple wood cheddar. Now only if they also told us where to find that.

The app and web site, the Choco-Locate project, is meant to be a companion to the upcoming documentary Semisweet: The Other Side of Chocolate which will be screened on TVO later this year.

Well I would appreciate it. How is it any different than an app for burger shops, or wine shops, or music stores.
I for one am crazy excited about being able to find good quality chocolate stores.
