Yaki Kushi Bar
Yaki Kushi Bar is a new option in the Annex if you're looking for an alternative to Guu a few doors down. A tad less boisterous than that other izakaya, it specializes in yakitori (skewers of grilled goodness), and for the Anthony Bourdain-inclined (aka, adventurous eaters), they have beef tongue, chicken heart, gizzard and liver on the menu. Mmmm...Wash it all down with a Japanese beer, sake, shochu (vodka), umeshu (plum wine) or an array of $5.50 cocktails.
