Vinny's Panini

Vinny's PaniniVinny's Panini is the type of no fuss, no muss, and unquestioningly authentic place die-hard panino fans pray for. Opened 6 years ago because Vinny Pennella knew his mom made better panini than anyone else, his concern is all about freshness, quality and consistency. Nothing is pre-cooked and while it means a few minutes wait, the result is more than worth it. Amen.

This is the real deal - I would place this joint on the top of the list personally. There's just no replacing a solid, non-gourmet sandwich that's packed with this much flavour and presented in such a casual environment. Forcing grill-marks and adding a zillion herbs just doesn't compare to an honest, sauce-slathered piece of beautifully tender veal. And the hot peppers actually have some kick instead of tempting me to imbalance the whole thing with some hot-sauce.

I LOVE this place! found it driving down Dupont looking for an Italian sandwich joint and this place had the most people in it. My first veal sandwich there was Incredibly amazing. It's really good there!

I had a great panini there last week and enjoyed catching a few minutes of the world cup. the service was friendly and the sandwich was impressive (but a bit pricey)
I'll definitely be going back to Vinny's
