The Vic Public House

The Vic Pub TorontoThe Vic Public House is where Fuzion used to be in the Village. It has arguably the prettiest patio on the strip with little touches of green and hanging plants, lanterns and general loveliness. Wicker armchairs and full tables make the space conducive to a little Sunday brunch nosh, but the space is by no means too stiff to deny a thirsty traveller a pint of one of its 13 beers on tap. The Vic's patio also has heaters for when it gets a little chilly and light scaffolding through which you can stare up at the stars. *Sigh*

The patio is the reason to check out The Vic. The bar on the side of the building is a nice touch. I've had good and decent meals for brunch- I'd recommend the Eggs Benedict and say to avoid the pricey breakfast poutine.

Do not go here! The kitchen has cockroaches and a termite infestation. Food is left out all day. It is scary that a place with such low levels and standards for food is able to stay open. Everything about this place is disgusting, from the grease stained carpets to the sketchy owner who never pays his employees. Also everything goes into the deep fryer, i.e vegetarian burger deep fried next to raw fish and poultry. Yumm

I agree with, John. This place is notoriously gross. There are ants in the bathroom and the food is just okay. I also hear they can't pay there staff and the waiter I got (George, I think) was so surly and entitled. Be weary.

Nice selection of craft beer, excellent pub fare, and friendly staff.
The Vic has become our regular watering hole. You have to try their giant Bloody Caesar which comes garnished with the works and a mini burger.

this restaurant is atrocious! its a surprise that they are still in business. food is cold and greasy! lacks quality and flavour. and SO OVER PRICED for the quantity and quality!!! our server was snooty and a typical gay boy diva type ( I don't remember his name, but he was tall, black framed glasses and had a ponytail ). the only real good thing about this place is the patio. save your money and go elsewhere people!

CLOSED! Went past tonight (Dec 20, 2013) and the entire house is in darkness. A framed sign was at the door, and it says they have closed the business.

Yeah, walked by a few days ago and some guys was taking the plants down from the patio and he told another passerby that there were closed for good because they didn't get enough support from the Village.

Judging by the reviews of this place on other websites, they didn't do themselves any favours.
