TrevorHip, modern, cozy, chic, smooth all seem apt to describe Trevor, a fine-dining establishment sans the elitism. Order from the main dinner menu, or from a smaller, more modestly price lounge menu featuring about a dozen choices. Or go for a fun tasting menu (hmm, whisky pairing, now, that's a cool twist on the old wine pairing idea).

Looking for a review of this place written in 2011? We went here a few weeks ago and sampled the dinner menu. If you like foie gras, this could be a good spot for you. Otherwise, we can't say we found great value here.

I left feeling very disappointed and certain never to return. It was a wasted night and more than that, it was needlessly poor service. My entree was completely raw, and it was disgusting to bite into it. But things happen so I can forgive that. However, the replacement dish took nearly a half-hour and no one came to check on me or refill my wine, while the rest of the table finished their dinners and also waited for more wine, etc. It was both poor service and horrible cooking. They finally came with a replacement entree and I refused it as everyone else was ready for dessert. No manager or anyone came to apologize; the kitchen acted like I had inconvenienced them. The other plates at our table were flavourless and not worth the expense. There are much better restaurants in Toronto....I'd never recommend it for a number of reasons.
