Town Crier TorontoTown Crier takes over where The Fat Belgian left off, offering a menu that consists of bar food through a European lens (think Moules et Frites ($13.00) or Pork Schnitzel ($13.95). There are over 50 beers on tap, with a good selection of Belgian and Dutch trappiste beers, and a decent choice of German, British, and Austrian brews. With a west-facing patio in the Entertainment district, it fills up fast at the end of the workday. Good for people watching.

Never been disappointed with this place. The schnitzel is good too. How can you argue with that many good beers to drink? It does get busy after work nowadays. Took some time but people are catching on.

Took this site's recommendation & was not disappointed. Great Schnitzel, great atmosphere, and friendly service. A truly good pub.

The beer selection is great, but the food is really poor. I ate spatzle once, which they have the nerve to call "German pasta" and serve it as a main, and it was dreadful. The second time I had schnitzel and it was only slightly less disappointing.

Come for the beer, but don't eat the food until the owners of this place actually visit Germany and learn how to make the food.
