A must go. Toasters flash like paparazzi throughout the cozy abode. Brunch was lovingly prepared with quality ingredients. Try the cranberry cream cheese stuffed french toast.

Great coffee.

The service leaves a lot to be desired. We went there this weekend and waited 45 minutes for our food to arrive. And while we were waiting, the two tables adjacent sent their food back. Not a good sign.

I was there this weekend past and had an amazing time - food and service. Had the eggs benny, truly awesome. There was a bit of a wait but the place was packed so you expect it. A must go!

Walked in for brunch today and saw two empty tables. One of them was a teensy table for two that we would have had to share with a woman who was sprawling all over the sofa that formed shared seating. We asked for the slightly larger table and although he was reluctant, the server gave it to us. No sooner had we sat down and removed our coats, bags, gloves etc and started looking at the menu, than a group of four walked in, and the server asked us to move. We did--right out the door, and had a perfectly good meal at the place down the street (for less than half of what we would have paid at Toast). Won't be back. Once customers are seated, you don't ask them to move. Ever. This is Waiting School 101. From all the other reviews I've read, the service here is a serious problem. When they fix it, maybe we'll try the food; until then, no way.

We waited 20 minutes for the server to take our order, and another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. My friend's steak was ok, however my fresh pasta was most likely not freshly made but premade-frozen-lowgrade-grocery-fodder.

Which begs the question why did it take 40 minutes to arrive, when they only had 3 tables at lunch.

And why am I being charged $13 for flavourless pasta?

Never returning to this place again.

Consistently the worst service I have ever had. The owner's customer service is as good as their food. First time I have been scolded by restaurant staff. How a business can stay open with this kind of product and ownership baffles me. Glad to see more breakfast spots in Leslieville, now that there is more options, this place won't be around much longer... thank goodness!

This place deserves some sort of award for the slowest dying restaurant in town. The service is dreadful, as is the food. The only way this place could be a killer brunch spot is if you got food poisoning.
There are plenty reliable places in town without having to take a chance on this place.
