The RoyThe Roy is a traditional pub that recently opened in Leslieville. The surroundings are pretty basic (but cozy) and attract locals for their pub grub and excellent selection of beers on tap.

The Roy is by far the best place to eat on the Queen St E between Logan and Larchmount.

The atmosphere and decor is lovely, the premises very clean, the staff friendly, service is prompt. And the food is delicious. The burgers are their best dish, huge portions and very flavourful. The salads are always fresh and the wraps are delicious.

A couple things they could improve on: too much dressing on the caesar, bangers and mash too salty and a bit bland, and my pet peeve: the batter for the fish and chips.

Despite these things I keep coming back to the Roy, and I would recommend them to anyone.

It's laborious to search out knowledgeable folks on this matter, but you sound like you realize what you're speaking about! Thanks
