The Playpen TorontoThe Playpen brings something new to the dilapidated strip mall at the corner of Carlaw and Gerrard East. From the owners of Tomi-Kro, the massive restaurant is white table cloth service with a colour palette that reminds of Piet Mondriaan.

Tomi-kro has a distress notice on the door. Its locked up by the landlord. For $50000 worth of rent and who knows what else?If you don't pay the rent who did you pay? Is this place locked up as well. Cant support someone that does not pay their bills.

Is this place open? Why would anyone want to patronise a place where the owners left the previous landlord with $50K in backrent? I hope nobody eats there.

follow Laura Prentice and Johnny K who own(ed) those places, and you'll find a long long list of people who they haven't paid over the years while they have pocketed millions and blew it up their noses. They invented sleaze.
