The Fuzz BoxThe Fuzz Box serves up Halifax-style donairs on the Danforth. Everything is made the traditional way except they use a Greek-style pita instead of a Lebanese one. But on the fringes of Greektown, what else would you expect?

I went here last night with 2 of my friends from Halifax. My previous experiences with Halifax style Donair's was last year when I visited Halifax city for the first time. Since coming back to Ontario I've been looking for the same style of Donair's. I had found a couple of places out in Burlington and Mississauga, however they were a bit too heavy with the sauce and it was quite sweet. When me and my 2 friends went to The Fuzz Box last night, we weren't too sure what to expect. The owner, Neil was a very gentleman who made us feel like home. If you've ever been out in Halifax, you know how close and friendly people are out in the East. The 3 of us tried the 1/2 lb Donair and let me tell you, we were impressed. My friend Mike who runs donair.org pretty much declared The Fuzz Box, The BEST Donair he had ever had. I would agree with him as would our friend Nay.

As funny as this sounds, the 3 of us came back there @ 10pm when Neil was closing up shop and asked if he could make another one just because they were so good. Thankfully he was generous enough to do so.

If you're looking for an authentic Donair in the city, don't even hesitate to go to The Fuzz Box. You'll feel welcomed in there and you'll get a excellent meal.
