Sushi Marche 2

Posted by Staff / Listed on June 11, 2011 / review policy

Sushi Marche 2Sushi Marche 2 is the second location of John Lee's Leslieville original. And just like the Leslieville outpost, Sushi Marche 2 is basically just a take-out operation where Leaside residents can pick up some of the freshest and tastiest sashimi and maki in North Toronto.

This is the best sushi in the city! I would eat sushi 5 times a week from this place if my girlfriend would go for it.

I'm not a big fan of california rolls or other wimpy sushi rolls for people who are not sure if they like sushi. I love sushimi and sushi and if the fish isn't top notch, you can definitely tell when you eat it like this. John's fish is the freshest in the city and I'm never disappointed when I order from him.

The signature kamikazi roll is one of my favourites with the different textures. A few of these will really fill you up. The presentation is beautiful and I usually get omasagi (chef's special) so he puts together a great platter that you almost don't want to eat it looks so nice.

Ordered this for lunch at my work and there wasn't any pieces left when were done.

Definitely recommend.
