Sushi Inn

Sushi Inn TorontoSushi Inn needs all its two floors to fit in the devoted throngs who regularly congregate here for raw fish, tempura, udon, bento boxes and other Japanese favourites. The quality isn't too far from your standard Bloor St. variety but it's guaranteed fresh as nothing sits around here for too long.

Great service despite the full house.. Water and green tea re-filled frequently, and the food came out fast..Perhaps even too fast!
The sushi was fresh and the stuffings generous. I had the chicken udon soup but substituted the udo noodles for soba (made of buckwheat-- much healthier!). The chicken was a little fatty, but the soup was otherwise delicious.

I ate here yesterday with my friend and it was a pretty good experience. I got the Gold Bento Box which was only $10.50 which comes with miso soup, 3 salmon and 3 cucumber sushi, rice, chicken teriyaki, 3 dumplings, 3 spring rolls, 1 fried crab, shrimp and veggie tempura and salad. I gotta say, it's the most food I've ever eaten for 10 bucks.

It's a little cramped inside though. And they were way to quick with the service. We barely started our miso soup and sushi before they brought out the bento boxes. there was no room on our table for it all and I didn't get to finish my miso soup (which I love) because I felt rushed to eat everything in my bento box before it got cold.
