Stout Irish Pub

Stout Irish Pub TorontoStout Irish Pub is one of the latest additions to Cabbagetown. On tap are plenty of microbrews including Cameron's, Canuck Pale Ale and Wellington, and the kitchen churns out pub favourites like burgers, fish and chips and shepherd's pie.

a welcome addition! great back patio and a surprisingly vast local brew menu. the service and friendliness far exceeded that of the other neighbourhood pubs we frequent. we'll be back!

Stout is a really great local pub and a great addition to cabbagetown. Their menu is full of pub faves and they've got quite a beer list that changes up seasonally. Stout also puts on pub stumpers trivia every Tuesday night which is always a good time!!

I came here with my boyfriend. I liked that they some boardgames, we grabbed UNO and played while we waited for our meals. I don't think they're super organized though, as we got asked by 3 different waiters for our orders. It was bizarre but they were all very nice.

I ordered the chicken sandwich and it was very bland and not much under the bun - a single leaf of lettuce and a few spanish onion pieces, as well as an awkward, over cooked chicken. My boyfriend ordered a burger and said it was nothing special, he gave it a 'meh'. We each got one drink (beer for him and wine for me), which again were tasteless and boring - after one of our 3 waiters talked them up.

when the bill came, I was horrified. It cost almost $60 for an overwhelmingly bland meal. I expected it to be about $45. Not impressed with this place.

My gf and I had the pierogi poutin which I thought was poutin *with* Pierogies on it... But alas it's just Pierogies with gravy and a little grated cheese on it ( not cheese curds) THIS IS NOT POUTIN. Get it together Stout! Food sucks at Louis Cifer too which they own as well. Eat BEFORE you go hear. Good beer and scotch selection but no Guinness at this Irish pub. What gives?
