tasteless, limp, bland, stale, burnt, overpriced, I don't have anything good to say about my experience except that the room may get favorable comment by anyone who wants to showoff and does not have any taste. i hope, for their sake, that people go there to be seen, because they won't be going back once they pay the prices for the mediocre food. Toronto has some great hotel restaurants, this isn't one of them yet.

In total agreement w above comment - shocking how bad and exceedingly overpriced their food is. We were a large table and shared numerous appetizers and tasted each others meals and we were all in agreement that we had just wasted a lot of money. Go for cocktails (they do make a mean dirty martini) enjoy the room but eat elsewhere.

The place looks very cold and very uninviting. Maybe they don't want people in there and the bad food is done that way to keep everyone out.

We decided to go to  “Stock Restaurant” for Valentine’s Day. It had just opened for a week so their were no reviews posted that we have found at the time, so we thought we’d go try it out. No prices listed on the website for the menu so we didn’t know what to expect.

I thought the service there was great! They were very kind, attentive and quick. The atmosphere and decor was very nice. Aside from all that, the most important part which was the food was disappointing.

We started off with appetizers: Blue crab & avocado guacamole- $20 and the: Fresh poached lobster salad: $24. Mains: Baked organic coho salmon- $29 and Beef short ribs- $34 with a side order of: Truffled mac and cheese- $9. We finished with dessert: Warm Dark Chocplate Tart- $15 and Cinnamon sugar beignets- $11. The food was very bland, and over priced.

The overall food experience was just “ok”, it was not great, and it definitely was not worth the price. The best part of the meal was the dessert, though the “cinnamon sugar beignets” tasted like “Tiny Toms dougnuts”! LOL...
