This place is dreadful. It looks really nice inside and I was hopeful that it would be a nice addition to my rotating lunch roster since I work in the neighborhood but I was so wrong.

First of all it was hard to figure out where you were supposed to line up. The soup was disgusting and tasted like hot ham water. The chicken wrap I ate was comparable to the kind of food you buy at the airport. No joke. The 2 other guys I went with, who each got different things, were equally disappointed.

Lunch fail. Avoid this place and keep it east of Portland on King where your lunch options are tastier and plentiful.

Why is it that every comment I read on blogTO for practically EVERY location is negative? If I believed every comment I read on here, I wouldn't be going anywhere b/c apparently according to most blogTO commenters, every place sucks!

I can't speak to what Niall had (as I haven't tried a wrap or soup here) but I have now been twice to Springbox, months apart from each other (including today) and both times I have found my sandwiches to be incredibly flavourful and delicious. I've ordered the Cuban Porketta and Turkey Pancetta sandwiches and they are borderline sinful - hence why I don't frequent it every week.

I agree that determining where to lineup is a tad confusing (but there are signs), and I would recommend grabbing the menus off the counter, as the menu board looks overly complicated to read.

Again, I haven't had anything other than the sandwiches, but the salads look really good and are freshly made to order (as is everything else). I also sampled their Tropic Thunder smoothie and that was good too.

If you're in the area, give it a shot. I doubt you'll be as disappointed as Niall apparently was. I will definitely be back again because I think SpringBox is great - and judging by the larger lineup of customers since my last visit, I would say I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Yup, top comment is b.s. as far as I can tell. Tried two sandwiches and they were good! Pretty standard Financial District fare. Not up there with KW spots like Big Smoke Burger or The One That Got Away, but they have a good variety. Overall, a nice place to have around.

used to be a big fan, they're clearly cutting corners these days though. my turkey went from proper REAL turkey breast to shitty slimy lunchmeat. half the draw of this place was that they were using good ingredients, which is why i didn't mind the $11 price tag, but at this rate i may as well be eating at Subway.

I just had one of the best Chicken Cobb Salads in my life. We all have good and bad days. But I was very happy with my meal today. And Coconut Water!

I have gone to this place every day for lunch for the past two weeks. It is a fantastic place with extremely friendly staff. I have tried the wraps, sandwiches and salads, but my go-to is the make your own sandwich with the whole wheat loaf. It is 8$ but they let you pile on as much meat, protein, extras as your heart desires. I would highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat. You can also add a side caprese salad for 2$ which I also loved. The smoothies are expensive, but they are fantastic so if you are craving one I would recommend that too. I love this place so much and support it wholeheartedly!
