SLAB Burgers (47 Charles St. West) is a great new downtown gem. The restaurant is funky and sleek and the service is excellent. The fries are fresh and flavourful but the burgers are the real attraction. They are juicy, tender and cooked to perfection. For a fresh, delicious burger at a fast food price, you can't overlook SLAB Burgers.

the jalepenos, dry cajun rub, hot sauce, cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato were just the tip of the ice berg - the patty itself , stuck in-between that soft sesame bun was just .... IETJWIJTI WJPK EORPKEO KPWOEKOK

I gave this place a try last friday for lunch. I was pretty impressed. Great taste and value! I got the slab burger (with Sautéed mushrooms, Sautéed onions and habanero sauce). Combo came to $10.16 with taxes. I will be back for sure.

I've been training at Yonge and Bloor and decided to walk around and I found this place. The service girl was nice. The burger was really good and was good value. The combo (burger, fries and pop) cost about $10.
I will be back!

What a fantastic burger at a fantastic price! If you are a fan of the 5 Guys burger style (i.e. an unpretentious burger made with 2 fresh, juicy and delicious patties, lots of free "non-gourmet" toppings and a heaping pile of handcut fries) give this place a try. It does everything 5GB&F does but for less $$ (cheeseburger combo is $10) and without the insane line up 24/7. The only possible strike against SLAB Burger is that they only have canned pop & bottled water available.
Bonus points for not having to say "I can't wait to have 5 Guys inside of me" or "I had 5 Guys this weekend and now I can barely walk"!

Really nice burger place. Personally think it's better than Hero because the burger patty tastes less "processed" and this place has more topping choices. And it's slightly cheaper :)
