Schnitzel QueenSchnitzel Queen is truly the queen of Toronto schnitzels. The food here is greasy, cheap and plentiful.

I've never seen it open. Never - and I've lived in the neighbourhood for years.

I love that place. It's only open from 11-5 most weekdays and 11-3 on Fridays. So unless you're working in the area, you're probably not going to be around when they're open. The couple that run the place are super-friendly as well.

It's only open for lunch between 11-5 monday to thursday and 11-4 on fridays. During that time, it's usually bustling and certainly open.

I live a convenient 2 minutes from here. Tried it for the first time today. The couple who own the place are really nice (Teresa and Benard). |The patrons are also friendly. I don't know how I'm going to finish this thing though. It's huge. One half has me full on an empty stomach.

Very fresh, the topping were flavorful. The tomatoes were great for this time of year. Very pleased. I might have to start waking up early to eat here.

That's the main con, short opening hours.

This place is the absolute best. All you hear upon entering is the gentleman in the back hammering out fresh schnitzels. Very few people end up finishing one. They're massive. The new hours frighten me a bit because there's youngens working the counter. I'd recommend going during their classic biz hours for maximum experience.
