Scaramouche
Scaramouche, tucked away in a high rise at 1 Benvenuto Place off Avenue Road, is regarded as one of the top restaurants in Toronto. The last time I ate here former Prime Minister John Turner was dining at the table next to me.

So what PM J. Turner was sitting next to you. How was the food, service, ambiance...???

There is a reason why this place has been around for so long. Amazing view (a must-see for Torontonians) and fantastic service. This is one of the few places in Toronto that would get a Michelin Star if the quality of other places weren't so piss poor.

Went there a couple weeks ago and I must say the food is well executed and spot on when cooking meat.

Had the Foie Gras Torchon. Melt in your mouth goodness... well balanced with the pickled cherry.

Lamb was perfectly cooked. That's what matters most to me. Tender and full of flavour without overwhelming the flavours of Lamb.

Also had the coconut cream pie. (a classic which has been around for years) I heard they once tried to take it off the menu once and folks complained. I can see why. It's so simple and yet elegantly done.

...This place is a bit pricier but worth it. Top to bottom the experience was great.

Highly Recommend
