Sarah's Shawarma and Falafel in the AnnexSarah's on Bloor is a long-standing taste favourite of mine. I would not recommend eating there every day as the final product is rather greasy, but the falafel combination with eggplant and fried cauliflower is one of the best bites in the city. They're the wrap-and-reheat style of falafel, but when I brought a picky Jewish friend down from northern Bathurst for one he still called it the best falafel he'd tasted in his life.

It's their secret hot sauce that makes their falafels and shawarmas so tasty. Even just a little bit of hot sauce in there makes their food taste better than without, and much better than the competition's.

Just ate there a while ago. This is on my top list of best falafels and shawarmas, except the only thing holding it back is that depending on the time of day you are eating there, it might not be fresh.

Awesome. My only beef is that the falafels and shawarmas usually aren't fresh.
