The fries are huge and pretty good (not oily, very fluffy) but the chicken sandwich is waaaay too bland.

Used to visit all the time in the early part of this year (2009) however around September the prices skyrocketed and I have not been back. Used to be one of the best values in town, now it's barely average.

Don't get the wrong idea the food is very good but over priced at what they now charge for it.

Haven't been to Phil's in a while due to the terrible service but the pulled pork is by far the best I have ever had. However, the beans are the best part of the meal. They are so unbelievable that they have ruined my bean eating at any other establishment because nothing ever measures up to Phils

I lived next door to Phil's for 5 years. I didn't like their ribs, their beans or anything else I tried there and yes the prices were too high. People would rave about it to me and I just did't see what they saw in the flavour and quality of the food. The frozen ribs I buy at Metro taste better to me...sorry Phil's!

Went here after hearing about it on citytv and was so disappointed. I had lunch there and wanted the pulled pork sandwich. My God the bun was ok size but half of it was empty. NO MEAT. When I showed it to the owner all he said was that is 6 ounces. Lets just say that 6 ounces in baby portions. The taste was very bland. a little smoke flavour but that is it. Like my cousin said to me you make better it better in your weber. Would love to see a place like down south where they are not scared to add meat to the bun even if it cost a little more. Very Very disappointed after all the hype.
