Opera Bob'sOpera Bob's is a newish pub on Dundas West near Ossington. It's a bit of a cavernous space inside which could use a bit of a makeover already; but when it's bust it's good enough as any place for a pint.

Owned by COC opera singer Robert Pomakov. He is one of the perfomers singing waist deep in water, in Robert Lepage's "The Nightengale and other short Fables".

We were there on Saturday night ... we thought it had a good vibe.

There was a band (Unknown Culprits) who were good.

It was nice to see lots of craft beer on tap.

My only complaint was that there was no air conditioning :(

A Grimy hell-hole, depressing looking interior, just bare walls and chairs no sense of interior design, the people in there are mostly stoned potheads and tattoed freaks, only ocasionaly you can see some one who looks like they can hold a job.
worst of all, NO GIRLS, a perfect sausage bar, I guess women get scared looking in and don't enter

The beer is cheap, but the place completely lacks atmosphere and character, we tried to talk to a few people and socialize, but they were completely stones

Those comments above are quite odd. Sounds like the wrong place. The walls may be described as too busy. But never bare. Local brews on tap, including a house beer made by mill street. I can't comprehend what the commenters of early this year were talking about.
Best bar in Toronto for blue Jays and Manchester City, of course!
If Bill is working, ask for a Caesar, I promise you'll love it.

Ya, the comments above make no sense to me. Always friendly easy to talk to people, lively atmosphere and a great mix of women and men. Was just there Friday and had a phenomenal time with my girlfriend and our friends. The staff are always great too. It's become my favourite bar in the city.
