Oh Boy BurgerOh Boy Burger is the latest restaurant to ride the gourmet burger wave in Toronto. On the menu are beef, bison, lamb, chicken, fish and veggie burgers. And for those who don't do bread (or gluten) they offer the option of a bun free lettuce wrap.

Soggy fries, burgers were ok, nothing special. No idea how it got top marks in the Toronto Star as the best burger in town...??!

Went in the other day, saw the prices and walked right out. I understand they have quality meat there but to get a burger meal is about $15-20 (depending on your sides)? C'mon. Go across the street to Epicure, $10 for a massive burger WITH fries & salad.

I went the other day w/ my parents & I thought it was great.

It is shitty to hear about the soggy fries because ours were nice and well cooked. I got the ceasar salad as a side & it was good as well.

All our burgers were delicious & I know it is a bit pricey but if I want a 7 dollar meal at McDonald's I would have gone there. This was a treat & I enjoyed it a lot.

First time I went I was told I'd have to wait 45 min for my meal, I left with a coupon that was given to me for my next visit...... went back two weeks later after the lunch crowd, I had the combo, it was just average at best, the meat was very bland. Not deserving of all the hype..!

Not cheap by any standard. The sweet potato fries are good, I suggest hero burger for a cheap and organic hamburger.

Oh Boy Burger is easily the worst burger joint in downtown toronto. While I'm aware that I have fairly high expectations when it comes to burgers the food there came no where near even my lowest expectations. I went there today with my boyfriend not knowing we were about to spend 40 minutes waiting for a takeout order of two sandwiches. Wait time aside they couldn't have made more mistakes if they tried. Luckily I was standing at the bar waiting for our order because the guy making our burgers did everything wrong. He gave us lots of toppings we didnt order and few that we did. The chicken burgers that we got covered less than half of our buns. We also go an order of fries that was no where near the "1/2 pound" they boast on their menu (about 20 fries).
We should have known from the start when we first ordered corn on the cob we heard the chef tell our waitress that they didn't have any.It wasn't until the rest of our order was cooked (about 30 minutes later) that she decided to come over and tell us there was no corn and ask us what we would like as an alternative. We chose the the chicken ceasar salad, a big mistake. No only did this add another 15 minutes on to our wait time (while out fries and sandwiches chilled in the bag) but the guy making it was repeatedly rubbing his nose while handling the food, but in the middle of making the salad went to retrieve a box of something from back and then returned to the salad WITHOUT WASHING HIS HANDS!
To say the least I was shocked and disappointed by both the service and the food and I will NEVER be eating there again

A workmate and I went to this place on opening and day and had a truly pitiful experience. Very confused staff, suuuper long wait for takeout (despite us being virtually the only ones in there) and then a burger that was burnt to a crisp. Oh yeah, and expensive! I was so pissed that I wanted to run right to the Blog TO page and warn others. But I chilled out and decided, hey, it's their first day, there's bound to be some bugs in the system. We finally gave them another shot today and it was every bit as terrible as it was all those months ago. Long wait. Expensive! I ordered the 6.0z for 6 bucks deal and with a side of fries it came to almost 12 bucks! So the side fries are 6 dollars? And the burger? Once again BURNT. But I guess a burnt burger is understandable when the cook spends 10 minutes chatting to a friend while we can hear our burgers sizzling away on the grill. I know Blog TO has become a repository for pointless negative waste, but seriously, this place suuuucks! It's an insult to your stomach, your eyes and your wallet. DO NOT GO. Kraft Burger to the south and BQM to the east are way better burger options.
