I think it's the concept of being the only place in TO but yeah, you really need to have at least a hundred buck to feed four people (the number of people in my fam). What I liked best was the Kare-kare sans the alamang. However, most of the food they serve have shrimp on it, so people allergic to it really have limited selection. The "Famed Chicken" is not even that good and most of the food are much too oily.
Service was okay, not that stellar but passable. If you don't call ahead of time, be ready to wait for at least 15 minutes so if you're really hungry, this is not the best place to go to.
Over all, it's too overrated and overpriced. And too noisy. Well since we all are Filipinos, that inevitable.
me...there service too slow food's "sucks" garbage and too expensive...kaya mga kababayan pls. don't fool you're self about this garbage restaurant save your time and money...
After all that, I decided to give them another chance. I brought my husband who is European so he can try the famous halo halo. We got seated after a 15 min wait because everyone was busy chatting in the back. We got menu soon after but 45 minutes later, nobody even bothered to take our order. We ended up leaving and walking away and none of the staff even bothered to say anything even the manager on duty! Mind you, the place wasn't busy at all. It was terrible and a shame. I was so proud of this place but I dont think its worth anything. They truly have to improve their service else they will eventually lose all their customers.
