The Local is an art-friendly pub on Roncesvalles that has lots of beers on tap, chili, burgers, salads and perogies. There's also a great back patio.

Disclosure: I met my girlfriend in this bar, so, I'm a little biased! ... The Local is only pub in Toronto I'd classify as "truly fun". Awesome staff, and The Elvis Bossanova nights alone are a five star.. also GREAT food.
The Local,Best Pub in town by far. I also enjoy the The HOP (house on parliament). Great Pints/food and Service
