Insomnia serves French and Mediterranean food and have nightly DJ sessions. The above photo is of the avocado chicken with melted brie sandwich, one of their specialties.

Best brunch I have had in my life. Citrus french toast is magical, as are their highly distinctive home fries (large home fries tossed in some sort of sauce loosely based on barbecue sauce).

Best brunch in Toronto! Atleast that I've found. Love it!

The BEST brunch in Toronto. A staple for me and my girls on Sunday's, sometimes Saturday's too!

This place has some of the best food...pretty good drinks also I've been going
every now and again for years. They also have this wicked dj on Saturday night
Charles G If you like different kinds of house music not just hard techno you'll love it.
I only wish sometimes there was more of a dance floor

I been going to this place for ages. It's cozy and nice with good food and drinks. You can't really go wrong with this place for mains. Although I find that some apps are mediocre at best, the mains are really good. Especially the pasta which totally fills you up. There is a reason this place been around for so long.

I ate here a few days ago and quite enjoyed it! It was a Thursday night and my friend and I arrived quite early at 4:45. With only one other duo in the restaurant we got to choose anywhere we sat. The waitress was really friendly and attentive. Our appetizer (crostini bread with melted brie) was awesome, and our mains (blackened catfish) were also great (the rice was a little dry, but nothing really to complain about). Everything was reasonably priced too. The only criticism I have is that once the restaurant got busy (around 6) we rarely saw our waitress. She was even slow to clear our plates and get us our bill. She said she would get it and we didn't see her for another 15min or so. However, it was a full house by the time we left, so she could've been super busy. I'll definitely go back again, and I suggest to any to go early!

That's a pretty strange looking sandwich. Are you sure you didn't mean "poutine"?

I'm impressed, I must say. Seldom do I encounter a blog that's both educative
and entertaining, and let me tell you, you've hit the nail on the head. The issue is something not enough people are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy that I stumbled across this during my hunt for something regarding this.
