India's Taste

Posted by Staff / Listed on August 13, 2011 / review policy

Indias TasteIndia's Taste is a sprawling Indian restaurant with an all-day buffet and main dishes a la carte. Though its interior colours remind me a little of Swiss Chalet, the chicken here is Tandoori--not rotisserie--and is served alongside fresh naan, roti, and more. With the buffet in the back and tables and booths throughout the space, the front of the restaurant is reserved for the restaurant's sweets including Jalebi, Gulab Jamun, and Rasgulla.

I went to couple of Indian Buffet but this one is Very clean with nice layout floor , humbled waitresses ,good service, many LCD TV's I think six or so , watching while eating of-course Indian Movies, buffet is served with Fresh Naan, while you are loading your plate, the waitress will bring to your table fresh hot naan, you can see the guy baking the naan inside the Stone-Oven authentic Indian style ,the food tastes fresh some of the dishes are cooked on the spot on a large pan. The Meat is Blessed or Certified Halal.I love the chicken tandoori and the butter chicken also the fish tandoori. a lot of variety of fresh salads and raw vegetables. smart owner anyone can eat even if you are a vegetarian.

It is busy during lunch time even the in the weekends also the Saturday dinner you better go earlier, I have seen families with kids lining up for tables.

It is a multicultural place ,you will find families from all backgrounds, Chinese, Caucasian, African American,Korean,Japanese, west Indians, south Indian, middle-eastern but the Majority are Caucasian and Chinese while I was there that day! you should try it for the price of $12 in weekends all-day buffet I believe is more than worth it I left a big tip just because of the clearness, space and the service !

The buffet is among one of the best Indian buffets we have been to, and we have tried Indian all over the world, including India itself. And the price is the best we've seen too! It is about $10 for lunch and $12 for dinner, and they have all day buffet! The curries are very flavorful, the butter chicken (a classic dish) is supreme here with its buttery, creamy sauce and juicy pieces of white and dark meat chicken. There is a large variety of veg (about 10 dishes) and non-veg (about 8-10 dishes) and lots of grilled stuff. But the crown jewel is their unlimited helpings of the chewy, fluffy and buttery naan that is so important when eating Indian food. It is heaven if you're a North Indian food lover!
