Highway 61 TorontoHighway 61 took over from the short-lived Cluck, Grunt and Low on Bayview and has been met with lukewarm reviews for its chicken and ribs. One thing everyone seems to agree about though is that the onion rings here are among Toronto's best.

The baked beans are the best I have ever had. Also, their fries are really good. They had a spice to them that makes them different, and just really tasty

The brisket & ribs are tender, tasty & plentiful. Try the sweet potato fries too. I agree with the beans being delicious. Everything is great, including the music!

The entertainment there is first class and always enjoyable. It has a great atmosphere to dine in and the food is fantastic. I especially like the brisket and beef ribs plus they have a wonderful homemade BBQ sauce. The food is good value for the money, you can't go wrong with dining here!

The ribs (beef and pork) and brisket are simply amazing. You can smell the smoker from down the street, beckoning your appetite. They have a great beer selection and the service is second to none. Other must-haves are the jalapeno corn bread, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato fries and baked beans.

I would pass on the slow-smoked chicken, however, as the texture is not great. They aught to rethink slow-smoking chicken as slow cooking and chicken just don't mix.

good service there... had their ribs and pulled pork sandwich the sauce was really smokey.. the price for the sides could be better and better portions make them bigger...
