FRANK Restaurant

FRANK Restaurant TorontoFRANK, unlike my favourite hangover haunts, is where you might take your mother for her birthday brunch. The pristine resto, named for AGO architect-mastermind, Frank Gehry, and nestled inside the gallery, serves pancakes during weekend brunch only. Buttermilk and toasted almond 'cakes are complemented with Niagara sour cherry compote, maple syrup and almond whipped cream. Drool.

April 2015, three world travelled ladies visited this location after a gallery visit and prior to a cocktail event. We obviously were not going for the full dinner menu. The server was polite with an edge of "can't be bothered" and she didn't. We all had the same overpriced special of the day. Thankful we were going to have appetizers at our next stop our review is "don't bother" to go to this yet again, just another Pretentious Toronto restaurant.
