Filo Grill & RotisserieFilo Grill & Rotisserie is a hidden gem at the corner of Pape and O'Connor. They make perhaps the best BBQ chicken east of the DVP and in summer diners carve up space on their side patio.

This place has a friendly atmosphere where you are welcomed and made to feel right home. The Greeks have a friendly, family oriented attitude and welcome people in as one of their friends. You must take into consideration the family run type of business, sometimes there friends will be there and you will get to know them if you stay awhile. The staff are very friendly and warm people who are great at serving with a smile. The owner cooks the goat and lamb himself on a slow rotisserie, and makes it mouth watering delicious.

Do not go to this restuarant. The owners and their friends that dine there every day are racists! If you are not Greek, forget about it! Calls have been made to the Human Rights Commission, Toronto Public Health and others on this restuarant - bad bad bad atmosphere!

Amazing hummus, amazing roast chicken, friendly service, and no sign of any of the stuff I have read above. The guy behind the ocunter actually had a discussion with a client within earshot of us where he asked the guy what his cultural restrictions were for food and where he was from, and then made recommendations as to what the guy might want to try that would be halal and yet different to his own culture's cuisine. Doesn't sound racist to me, quite the opposite.

Wow .. dinner tonight at Filo's Grill on O'Connor Drive. Amazing place .. This is truly a Greek Gold Mine. The food was delicious,my husband's steak was cook to perfection !! Don't forget to try their "Grilled Octopus or Calamari" its the best I have ever tasted. The owner was so friendly and our waitress was so wonderful with my kids .. Filo's Grill feels like home. Our family will certainly return again and again.

A friend of ours suggested he knew of a place that served food past midnight, so the four of us decided to give Filo a try. We were greeted by a waitress that wreaked of alcohol and greeted us with a scowl that said "what do you want!".

My friend leaned over after she took our drink order and said, "you know what they say about poor service, the food will be great!".

He's ended up eating his words, and they were much tastier than the food. Not only was the Gyro fatty and dry, but three of us ordered the sandwich portion, and ended up getting the full meal which is double the price!

Yes, it's our fault that we did not argue this when the food arrived, but it was midnight, and we were too tired to put up a fight. We bit the bullet and vowed never to return!

There's a plethora of options for late night eats in the city, this one should be avoided!

The servers are great..The one named Vivien had a great smile & wicked sense of humor. The bar-b-que & onions steak sandwich was the bomb!..Food portions are very generous & the weekend caters to a fun after club crowd.
