Eduarda's BBQ Poultry & Food

Eduarda'sEduarda's, a storefront at Dupont and Symington, is part lunch counter, part grocery store. Beware the overboiled steamed vegetables, which loaned a taste to my whole meal as though it had lately been sprayed with a saltwater hose. The rotisserie chicken is ably prepared, but go easy on the oily sweet sauce. The rice has a nice touch of vinegary sweetness to it, and the price can't be beat. Quarter chicken combo, $6.

This place is actually called Eduarda's, not Eduardo's. Also, it's at Dupont and Perth (one block west). Not sure why Google Maps says that 1507 Dupont is at Symington.

The chicken and mashed potatoes are tasty. If you're eating in, you can get a real plate and cutlery so you're not throwing out all that plastic and styrofoam.

It actually moved to the NW cor Dupont & Perth a year or two ago: 1507 Dupont (on the S side, if you notice by the odd number) is the now-demolished old address.

I love eduarda's. Haha, it's so greasy and the women there move slower than turtles. I'm pretty sure they have made fun of me before in portuguese, but hey, the price is good and sometimes I just need some greasy chicken and potatoes.

The Piri-Piri sauce can't be beat... this is by far the best rotisserie chicken I've had for a long time. Ask for the sauce in a container and take it home... it's EXCELLENT on your own cooking! And the price demands that you go.

I hate this place with a passion - the building is dirty - the food is even worse and the customer service is awful. I can't wait for this neighborhood to gentrify some more so this place goes out of business.

"Bland mono borin douche bag neighbourhood..." one can only dream my friend! - in the meantime I'll be at June Harlowe by far the best restaurant in the 'hood'. Maybe when I burn the taste buds off my tongue I'll come join you at this lovely establishment.

Good to see your an out and open bigot. Well at least hiding behind the internet and the letter "K". You can stay at "the best Restaurant in the Hood" You should have monthly meetings there to plan your neighborhood "gentrification" and put on your white gown and hood. See you at Paris bakery for a coffee!!!

What happened to make you so angry Tuffy? Come over to my douchebag house and lets be friends - I enjoy the company of bitter angry people who hate good food. I love the diversity in our neighbourhood - I dont like places with poor customer service.

Hope you have a wonderful angry day.

I agree with K, I was there this weekend. Service sucks and food could be better. I wouldn't cry if this place went out of business.

k and k2, i haven't even been there, but i am going tonight, and i guarantee someone criticizing with such passion is most definitely another business and Eduarda's clearly is your competition... the definition of a douchebag

Eduarda's should and could be a great business to have in the neighbourhood but sadly its a flithy place which badly needs to be cleaned up. I live just up the street and the garbage stink and cigarette butts that litter the restaurant are terrible. I wish I could write otherwise but this place is an eyesore. It wouldn't take much to clean it up but the staff seems to care little, if you don't believe these comments then take a walk alongside their "patio". The fact is many in the 'hood have decided against giving their hard earned money to this restaurant.
