Danforth Dragon

Danforth DragonDanforth Dragon, with its quirky tropical decor, creates the impression of an oasis for Hakka food-seekers. A couple years ago, the friendly owners revamped their menu to focus on Hakka-style dishes, like the popular Manchurian Chicken, served with coriander, chilis and a whole lot of cayenne pepper. Kick things up a notch and ask for the in-house chilli sauce. When you can't take the heat, you'll be grateful for the Kingfisher beer on the menu.

Visited TO this weekend and had a blast from Montreal. Being of Indian descent, we are missing that Indo-Hakka taste in MTL. Didn’t want to drive too far so saw this place and did not regret it. Everything we ordered was excellent and will definitely repeat. We even took food back home for the family.

Was just there with friends on September 15th on a friend's recommendation - AMAZING!! Every single dish blew us away in terms of taste and portion. My personal favourites were the spicy chicken wings and the noodle dish we had - the butter chicken dish did not disappoint and the Kingfisher beers were cold and refreshing!

Are any of your dishes gluten free. Do you use flour in any of your sauces.

Just had take out tonight from this restaurant and it was delicious! We had the manchurian chicken and mumbai beef. Both were excellent. It was approximately 20$ for enough food for four people (the hefty meat dishes and rice). I will definitely be visiting Danforth Dragon again!

Visited this gem during a recent trip to Toronto. Loved the 'authentic' taste of Indo-Chinese food, reminded me of childhood dishes from Calcutta. wish we had a branch here in Alberta:)
