Go to Cowbell if you like your meat - especially if you like it local and organic. Chef Mark Cutrara's Parkdale bistro's menu changes almost daily based on what he can source from local suppliers.

I have been to Cowbell a few times - The service and the food are excellent. I admire their effort to buy local organic produce and fresh, in-shop butchered meats. I have really enjoyed their duck, both in their Confit de Canard as well as the duck breast dishes - they are absolutely delicious!

We came to the cowbell for Sunday brunch. The food was mediocre and luke warm at that. The service wasn't all that great either. All in all we won't be coming back. Overpriced for what it is.

I really like Cowbell. The servers were helpful, enthusiastic, sweet, and relaxed. We ordered a Cowbell Sampler. The duck soup was delicious: sweet broth, tasty pickled veg, and tender duck. Then the beef cheeks came. Smokey, tender, sweet, magical. Anyway, I'm glad this place is in my neighbourhood and that everything is local. This video from Toronto Standard was what convinced me to finally check out Cowbell.

Possibly my favourite restaraunt in the city. I've had so many memorable meals there. I was also underwhelmed with the brunch, however. I hope Cowbell is around for a very, very long time...
