The Corner PlaceThe Corner Place takes over from a long line of unsuccessful restaurant ventures at the corner of Front and Jarvis Street. The problem all these places have is they think they can charge a premium just because they're across the street from the St. Lawrence Market. Hopefully one day someone will learn and put something here that isn't simply a tourist trap with a pretty patio.

I would have to disagree with the statement above. The prices are reasonable in comparison to other restaurants in the area. This is coming from someone who knows a thing or two about the area given that ive been living here for 13 years. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. The patio is great place in the summer because they play live music and is a great tourist attraction. Not to mention on Tuesdays from Rainbow you can bring your ticket and get half price appetizers and drinks which is a big bonus. So, before you judge I think you should see it from someone who knows the area better.
