This place is fantastic - you have to try each of the different fritters. The house-made sauces are amazing too.

I ate at Avo on the weekend and will definitely be going back! The food is great and at a price that can't be beat. The Piri Piri sauce is a real treat so be sure to try it. Best I've ever had!

Tasty! Charming food stand serving delicious Portuguese street food. Great assortment of fritters-from cod, shrimp to vegetarian-and really yummy fries. Garlic Aioli is very nice and piri-piri (Portuguese hot sauce) is crazy addictive! Great prices and great service! Perfect addition to Kensington’s food scene

This place is great! The owners are so lovely and the food is to die for. I especially got hooked on the beef fritters and the shrimp fritters. Highly recommend the garlic aioli. Mmmm...addictive and at that price you can try everything!

Veggie fritters and french fries all the way! So good and so not what I expected! Piri piri sauce was great and I bought extra to take home! My girlfriend bought beef turnovers and at that moment in time was very happy I am a vegetarian! She loved it and wants me to mention the incredible garlic sauce and nice lady behind the counter! Check it out for sure.

Our Kensington location may be closed for the summer season, but Avo is not closed all together! Keep an eye out for us as we travel around Toronto this summer, and as well, some of our yummy sauces are hitting stores soon! Thanks BlogTo for all your awesome support, and thank-you everyone here who commented! Totally awesome!
